River rafting on the Kali

The Kali River is the reason many people come to Dandeli. Rafting runs through forested stretches of the river, with routes of different lengths offered by local operators. Water flow on the Kali is influenced by upstream dams, so the routes that run — and whether rafting runs at all — depend on the season and the day.

What to expect

Expect a safety briefing, protective gear and a guide in each raft. Shorter runs suit first-timers; longer runs have more rapids. You will get completely wet, so carry a change of clothes.

Tell us your dates and group, and we’ll check which routes are operating, the current price per person and timings, and add it to your quote. Rafting is never assumed to be part of a package unless the package says so.
